Copenhagen 12/8 2021. 50 cl bottle bought at the brewery. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in red.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with yeasty fumes. Sweet fruit. Banana and apricot. Marzipan and brown sugar. Musty notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Nice Belgian inspired nose and lemonade-ish taste.
