The beer is a New England IPA. A delicious, well-hopped, almost juicy form of IPA. The special fermentation profile and dry hopping technique provide an explosion of fresh hop flavor and aroma in this cloudy beer. The hops are the delicious American types, Idaho7, Citra and Eldorado.

Svendborg 18/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Svendborgsund Bryghus. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in yellowish brown.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,4 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet slightly fermented odor of tropical fruit mingling with citric notes. Peach, pineapple and mango. Hints of decay. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite solid take on a NEIPA. Refreshing and bitter without going to extremes.
