A stout aged on coffee grounds from Tøystrup Estate. Roasted and roasted notes from the dark malts and coffee grounds from the estate give a robust stout with notes of coffee and dark chocolate.

Copenhagen 25/8 2021. 50 cl bottle bought at the brewery. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in dark brown.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin and frothy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dark malty sweet odor mingling with bitter coffee fumes. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Scent of Espresso coffee peeking in.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid, well-balanced and fairly light Stout.
