A light top-fermented organic beer with wheat malt and fresh elderflower from an organic plantation near Vester Skerninge. Very fresh beer with high drinkability.
This beer is a fusion between a wheat beer and a pale ale. Wheat is used and it is low in bitterness, but together with elderflower and Citra hops the beer also gets a twist in the direction of pale ale.

Copenhagen 22/8 2021. 50 cl bottle bought at the brewery. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in orange.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a big white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with tart notes. Sweet fruit. Oranges, elderflower and peach. Lemonade-ish touch with a bit of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet lemonade-like. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweetish.
Pretty middle of the road Wheat beer.
