Copenhagen 21/8 2021. 50 cl bottle from Svendborgsund Brewery. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in blue.
Pours slightly unclear, pale yellow with a mid-sized, frothy white head. Stable. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer completely. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a citric scent. Peach, apricot and elderberry. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Fresh and uncomplicated summer beer.
