Whiskey barrel aged imperial brown ale. The barrels have been used for different types of whiskey, which gives a complex flavor from the barrels' past. Pipe tobacco, smoke notes and port wine are felt in this brown. Traditional English ingredients, such as brown malt and East Kent Golding hops, have been used.

Copenhagen 5/5 2025. 33 cl bottle from Md & Vin, Mason, Kbh. K. Chaotic label with the word "Waves" in yellow with red splatter and white doodles.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark and sweet odor of toasted malts and dark alcohol. Earthy notes. Sweet biscuits and brown sugar. Tobacco and leather. Light whiff of whisky and peat. Hard edge of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweetish boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is soft, sweet and boozy.
Nice, silken Barrel boozer.
