Served at 8 degrees Celsius.
This beer arrived with a poofed-out, dark, creamy head rising over the glass, which slowly sank to an island of foam in the glass. The beer was a very dark, black cherry color. The smell was faintly sweet, and also had something of black cherry coming through.
The taste was wide and rich, but smooth, with the 8% alcohol being unnoticeable. I also couldn't help thinking I tasted some black cherry.
The dominating characteristic was the creaminess of the mouthfeel, which never let up. Probably the softest beer I've ever had. Very good and very drinkable.
