350 ml can from and in Sapporo. BB dated 14-Oct.-2018.
Pours with a clear, light amber body and a short white head that has limited retention.
This "amber ale" has a higher hop/malt balance than average due to less roasted malts rather than 'excess' hops. Still, it's much more like a typical amber ale than, say, a pale ale. It's lightly spicy with a subtle hint of caramel.

A surprisingly unbalanced brew which pours from the can with a large head. There aren't an abundance of amber ales in Japan, so I was hoping for better. Also available in a 330ml bottle with a completely different label.
