This beer was running for a PRETTY PENNY at the Otaru Beer Brewpub, at about $12 for 500ml. Whoa!
Arrived basic and golden, with a medium to poofy head. Smell was salty, yeasty wheat, with some faint sweetness.
The beer itself was chewy, salty corn--I thought corn nuts--with a fruity backbone and thick hopfeel towards the end. Medium body.
OK beer, but I wouldn't order another, especially in light of the price.
