Copenhagen 25/3 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. Hoppe.Beers usual label design with a little barrel to signify tat this is boozy stuff.
Pours opaque, unclear orange-is red with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity and a bit boozy odor mingling with tart, sour notes. Grapes and currants. Leather. Gooseberries and citrus.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is a tad thin. Sweetish with a tart undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine nose combining tart fruits with sweet boozy barrel - but a bit thin in flavor.
