Copenhagen 6/2 2022. 33 cl bottle from Høkeren, Ravnsborggade, Kbh. N. Hoppe.beer's usual elegant labeldesign in in turquoise, pale yellow and black.
Pours opaque, murky orange brown.with a small white head. Settles as thin patches of foam floating around the middle of the glass.
Aroma is fairly intense with a light fruity, sweet odor Soon overpowered by a sharp, acerbic, tart and citric scent. Funky notes. Tart gooseberries, lemon and a touch of vinegar. Sour cheese peeking in. Subtle peach.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Fine, dry, tart and a bit funky saison.
