Copenhagen 3/3 2017. 75 cl bottle from Høkeren. Very graphic label with two disturbed reindeers with red snouts. The cork was pretty hard to get out of the bottle but the beer was pretty eager to get out when I finally managed to get it out.
Pours hazy very dark murky brown with off white head. Settles pretty quickly as patchy very thin layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet and a little sugary. Sweet malts, Belgian basement, fermented sweet pear, raisins and brown sugar.
Strong carbonation and creamy, soft, thick palate.
Flavor is medium to heavy sweet followed by more subdued sour fruity aftertaste.
A little boozy and with a strong Belgian influence. I think all the hard work with the cork was worth it.
