A beer of the “British Brown Ale” type. It is brewed from both light and hard roasted malt.

Together with candy and raisin syrup, it gives a full-bodied and well-balanced beer, which leaves a nice long aftertaste of dried fruit and chocolate.
An English “Fuggle” hop is used – a mild and slightly spicy hop with notes of wood and flowers.

A Brown Ale with more juice and power than average. Raisin syrup is good for dark beers. It gives a fantastic full-bodied, round and soft taste experience.

Copenhagen 3/8 2021. 33 cl bottle from Vinoble, Centrumpladsen, Svendborg. Ø-bryg’s usual design with a transparent label with a white “Ø” with a beer bottle in the center.

Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark, toasted malts mingling with earthy scent. Sweet caramel, toffee and a bit of brown sugar. Hazelnut. Earthy scent of tobacco.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet and pleasant.

Quite sweet Brown Ale with a light earthy touch.
