A beer inspired by the Belgian beer type Dubbel, and therefore brewed with a Belgian yeast type. Has a good malt body, with a lovely sweetness, and notes of nuts, chocolate and caramel from the roasted malt and from muscovado sugar.
Malts: Pale ale, Cara Munich, Carafa 1, Wheat, Rara Rye, Oat flakes
Hops: Safbrew
Yeast: Bitter hops, Goldings Saaz

Copenhagen 12/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Big white pictogram of an old mill on black background on the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong, toasted, malty odor mingling with hints of salty peat. Brown sugar, caramel. Light grainy sourness. Salty sea.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sour undertone. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Fair take on a Belgian dubbel - and you donate a small amount to maintain Christians-møllen when you purchase the beer.
