look: 3.5 | smell: 2.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5
L- It's a bright but very deep amber, so deep it has a red hue to it. Clear, pours with 3mm white head.
S- Winter congestion means I struggle to sense it's smell.
T- Moderately toasty, something of a malty middle, going into an increasingly hoppy dry finish. This dryer style reminds me of a British trad pale ale.
F- It's refreshing, and also carries a touch above the anticipated punch of a 4.9%.
O- Sessionable by trad IPA fans, though perhaps just a touch hoppier than I'd wish for in such a beer. I don't know much about the 'red beer/ale' style to consider what that aspect is bringing to the overall experience. Overall I don't note any aspect out of place or balance; it seems like a well put together beer.

Hovering around UK pale ale & US red Ale & dropping clumsily into the river Fal, which would explain the watery nature :/ just so muted can half tell what they were aiming for
