Poir belle helene on the nose. Never smelled it so well before in a beer. Slight ashy quality when you get you snorter right in there. Fairly low aroma

Much more to the flavour - rich chocolate, but there is still some pear there. Decent bitterness. Lactic drying end. Fairly thin, low carb

Rather interesting but not too sure I'd want more than a pint.

Bottled and bottle conditioned and brewed especially for Marks and Spencer
Aroma of blackcurrant cordial
Malty sawdust flavour that's more dark mild than stout coupled with the thin even for the abv
Hmmmmmm
