Dropped by on a rainy Saturday afternoon, not long after opening. The tap room has a unique look and feel, kinda like they took over a good size restaurant building. There's a good size bar and lots of seating around inside, plus some outside. I love that you can look in on the brew house and the tanks (when they have the lights on). The staff were great; I walked in knowing I was gonna get the slow pour of Landbier, and they made sure I knew it would take a few minutes and asked if I would like anything to sip on in the meantime. Not long after sitting down the rush was on, but they kept the line moving and were happy to explain anything on the board to help people pick the right beer for them. They have a nice selection of lagers from malty to a bit more hoppy, both traditional and kinda new school (NZ hopped). I don't normally get excited about some of those styles, but I do appreciate when they're done this well, so I'll absolutely be back. Wouldn't mind seeing something like a rotating IPL option for hop heads.

My wife and I stopped here while on a 2-day pub crawl from Sacramento to Chico. There is no food offered here, so the visit was only to try the beers. The brewery is located in a fairly new business park area, and they occupy a nice building that has a bit of a Euro look to it. Ample parking is to one side. A small patio overlooks the parking. The interior has an open look to it. The brewery specializes in Euro styles, and the blue/white diamond-patterned attraction flags attached to the rafters gave a Bavarian feel. A short bar is straight ahead after entering, and the rest of the building has a good number of tables/chairs. Some seating exists at the bar. One TV was noted. I liked the vibe. We arrived on a Monday just after opening, so they weren't busy. Service is at the bar, and that's where we also sat. The bartender was attentive and answered all of our questions.

There were only 6 beers on tap (10 side-pull taps) so we ordered a sampler flight (0.33 L) of all the beers (a helles, a dunkel, 3 pilsners (two Germans and a New Zealand), and a landbier (0.5 L only). The brewery recognizes the landbier and a unique offering (it isn't commonly found except in small rural breweries), so a slow-pour is given to it. We liked all of the beers, and our overall rating for the beers was a 4.08. The helles and the landbier stood out.

No food except chips and salsa are offered here, although there was a posted schedule for food trucks for Thursday through Sunday. I didn't see and take-out beer options, and I neglected to ask. Highly recommended.
