Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter, this beer draws a clear, medium to dark copper color with a white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with good lacing. Aromas of some toasted, bready caramel malts,!some Belgian candi sugar along with some fruity notes of date and fig and a slight floral, earthy happy note. Has a very similar flavor profile, with the toasted, bready, caramel malt amd Belgian candi sugar sweetness making their presence nicely known. This is followed by the fruity notes of date and plum along with a bit of floral, earthy hops that give just a touch of hop bitterness.
