Unexpectedly smooth for a strong beer. Coffee and cocoa flavors and smells. Nice head. Was not expecting to like it but yeh...not a Keith's fan but to find a commercial stout this good deserves credit.

appearance: opaque black with a very nice, thick tan head. good retention
Aroma: notes of very sweet cocoa nibsn and roasted coffee.
Taste: pronounced coffee, more subtle cocoa. roasted malt with the addition of coffee creates a lasting bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: minimal carbonation with a full body. slight astringency, likely from the coffee.
Overall: very drinkable and enjoyable 6.5% ABV stout.
