The beer pours a golden-red colour with a very thin tan coloured ring for a cap. The aroma is floral hops, grains, as well as some weak caramel notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is very grainy, far less flavourful than the Cascade version. Definitely not worth retrying.

Poured from a stray bottle in a buddy's fridge into a shaker pint glass, an amber color just grading into dark gold with a little white head. Aroma is minimal, grainy and grassy with a low key hay-like hop note. Palate is similarly grassy but with an odd burnt popcorn and straw taste, with very faint cinnamon and licorice perhaps, but the flavor largely driven by this strange singed malt and hay note. Thin bodied and maximally carbonated, as expected for this brewery. Not a great brew but more interesting than Keith's proper and I suppose some of the expected mellow Hallertau flavor is there. Still has an unsavory macro-brewed blandness about it.
