This hoppy nectar features a solid malt backbone supporting citrusy West Coast hop goodness. Citrusy aromas and flavors come through as a result of an aggressive dry hopping process. The mischievous Hopgoblin American IPA will definitely satisfy your hophead cravings!

Here at the Two Rivers Tavern in South Fork and this was the local brewery on tap. Sure enough, I’m going through Pagosa Springs tomorrow and this was an IPA worthy of the Centennial State as it was plenty hoppy, flavorful, and short-lasting in my pint glass!
Clear and coppery like all of the Pennie’s inlaid in the bar, this had a nice, soapy head as the rings of lacing left behind were thin and layered, and even better, nicely-defined. Loads of earthy hops, Caramel Malt, turbid citrus, and deep outdoors in the nose as the taste equally followed suit. Some skunky weed, chocolate, leather, and heavy grapefruit emerged once this fully warmed up as this was a cross between a beer from these parts and an old- school IPA from the Sierras. A bit tangy, loaded with hops, and tingly in the back, the carbonation was on par with everything else going on as this was a nice precursor for my ride across U.S. 160 tomorrow.
A bit strong, the booze warmed me up nicely as the hops were in equal proportion to each others here. If you can’t get to California, reach for this as the Rockies have an equally appealing beer of their own here. Perfectly suited for this neck of the woods!
