This award-winning hazy IPA is a bold expression of juicy hop character, built on the powerhouse trio of Nectaron, Galaxy, and Sabro. It pours golden and opaque, crowned with a creamy head and bursting with lush tropical aromatics—think passion fruit, peach, pineapple, and just a hint of coconut. Soft on the palate with a pillowy mouthfeel.

Poured from undated can purchased at the brewery into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a hazy, bright orange with almost two fingers of fluffy, bright white head and a thick film of lacing. The smell is mostly lemon with whiffs of grapefruit and pineapple. Its taste follows with a balance of tart citrus, pineapple, some indistinct tropical notes, and just a hint of coconut. The mouth feel is fairly lite with appropriate carbonation, and it is very drinkable at 6.2% ABV. Overall, A Thousand Haze to Die is a very drinkable New England IPA. While not memorable, I would be glad to drink it casually or on draught at a restaurant with a burger or barbeque.
