on-tap, pint at the Dray
Rather light bodied - an interesting take on the style for sure but too 'leafy' and herbal for my taste. The typical citrus hoppiness/bitterness is lost behind the earthy reality of the hop leaves. Ordering an Elysian beer is a big gamble - this one did not pay off

Drinking from a pint glass at home from a growler from "b2 Taphouse". Fresh hop Pale Ale..gotta be a bit long in the tooth by now. Growler was on sale $7.50 Clear golden beer with a nice sized off white frothy head..sinks to lace in a few minutes. Nice resiny, floral hop aromas..a touch of toffee in the malting..nice. Nice balanced taste..toffee, caramel and some floral hops..becomes more resinous in the end. Good smooth mouth feel low carbonation is a plus. A very drinkable beer but to me it is past its best..4 weeks ago this might have been dynamite!
