Dayglow IPA: Another Manic Lupululu! This is a beer with the insistent beat of hops, as driving and inevitable as a Full Moon party in Haad Rin. It drips with tropical, sunshiny Mosaic, and twinkles with touches of El Dorado and Centennial. A touch of wheat hazes the malt bill a bit around the edges, and the IBUs are stuck in the mid-sixties.

Poured a clear amber with a huge sticky white head. If it just had a stein...
The nose is all juicy sweet tropical fruits. And citrus. I feel like I should be on a beach
Comes in with the same theme. Or is that motif? Comes in with the juicier thicker tropical delights, with a bit more citrus: mango, pineapple that escalates pretty quickly to the acidic aspect of the citrus. The malts play their best impression of the refs/role players: compliment the stars and provide some structure, but don't outshine them. They augment the hops well, provide a backbone and some body, but don't do much on their own.
Finish is generally pretty smoothe with the bittering finish lingering, clashed with an almost candy sweetness checking in at the last second. Carbonation is appropriate and not distracting
Overall it comes together really nicely. Kind of a more than the sum of its parts (and the parts themselves are pretty nice to start, so...). Solid entry into an already saturated land of good west-coast IPAs. Could be fantastic on tap, though...
