This Pale Ale is brewed with Jarrylo Hops and 35 IBUs, according to the literature at the pub. On tap at Elysian Fields by the ballpark, and claimed to be brewed at that location.
Hazy golden yellow gold color in the pint shaker. Plenty of spritz on the tongue. Aroma is really intriguing-- it's more savory than the usual hop notes. Grapes, asparagus, thyme, even some sizzled pork. Some fruity flavors, and just sharp enough.
This makes a very refreshing quaff Moderate bitterness that adds to the tangy pleasure. Light body, but the malt gives it a warm and substantial fee.
