On tap at Elysian Fields in downtown Seattle. Hazy, golden orangey amber color in the tall tulip. Seems hoppier and a little more bitter than the Zombo, its crib mate. Made with Belma hops, according to the brewery, and rated at 35 IBUs.
Distinct honeydew melon taste is quit nice. Crackery malt. Rather sharp with a pineapple fruitiness, though quite well bittered. Rich fruity taste but with a dry mineral finish. Rather bitter.
It's the meaty, almost funky hop flavor that makes this really intruguing, if less than highly drinkable. Aroma of Meyer lemon and canteloupe with resiny notes.
