A minty, botanical Tripel. The opposite of a session beer, but absolutely worth a try.

Tasted at their brewhouse, off the tap. Served in a schooner, and came with fair warning that this was a high-ABV brew. Anyhoo
A - Clear orange, with a finger of white head that dissipated after a few mins.
S - The 10 weeks it spent in a barrel has brought on some woody notes, but the nuances of a belgian tripel are long gone. I'm not getting much of a coriander, or the bright, vibrant grapey/citrusy fruitiness that I usually get in most tripels.
T - Taste was ok, not too bad. Tastes like a blend of tripel and saison, with a fair amount of wood in the aftertaste. Half the way down, I was already craving another beer.
M - Ok, I suppose.
O - Was worth a shot for the novelty of it. But won't be trying another.
