This is my new favorite IPA. (Ecliptic Hypernova was my last.)

Clear orangey amber with plenty of foam in the Timmermans goblet. Aroma is a delirious oak and vanilla cloud. But it seems to skip over the hops. Astringent mouthfeel with a modest carbonation.
Flavor is quite sweet with malt, sugary even. Then, unfortunately the taste is just plain bitter. This is just really weird-- a one-trick pony with that lovely aroma but it's followed by that horrible medicinal bitterness. I do buy the occasional Anheuser-Busch InBev product just to be naughty, but in this case the joke's on me. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Sno-Isle Co-op in Everett.

This beer tastes like a barrel aged blonde barleywine with authentic bourbon barrel character that is rounded out in a creamy, oaky, vanilla finish. it was nice to try this so fresh as I believe it's a Spring 2017 release.
