The best of British beer is the malt body and that beautiful malt balance. And the best thing about American beer is the citrus, piney hops. So we’ve taken those two aspects, put them together and come up with a beer you can actually drink a few of -- 6% ABV you can drink all night long.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Medium golden with small fluffy head. Aroma is dull, malts, paper. Taste turns things around with some sharp bitterness. Minor malts. One sided IPA, really bitter.

Def Leppard pours a dark copper color, with a big long lasting lacing head. Very earthy and very hoppy aromas. Flavor is full of citrus notes, some bitterness, and some earth too. Flat feel. Overall, tasty beer, bigger citrus flavors, with nice bitterness mixed in.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of floral notes, citrus and lemon. It tasted sweet with caramel and a subtle bitterness.

Hell yes. My favorite from ages 4 to 12. Can is dated pretty old, but I'm fine with that, 8-7-18. 16 oz can poured into ploughshare glass.
Honey amber color with a bubbly head of 2 fingers, receding to 1/2 finger after a few minutes.
Aromas of fruity pebbles and wet grass, with honey and pale british malts.
Flavors are of orange rind, evergreen, peach, bread, and slight onion.
Feel is slightly creamy, mostly wet-feeling, with a buzzing carbonation. Slight dryness and resins on the finish.
Overall a pretty nice pale ale with no real bells or whistles. Enjoyable, would be good as pub fodder which I think was their goal.

16 oz can into chalice. Dated 9/25/18.
Look is cloudy golden yellow. Smell is yeasty, hoppy. Taste fairly muted hops and yest and malt. Feel is light. Overall ok but nothing special. May be that west coast ales don't travel well to east coast.

Sometimes you buy the beer for the band. Was surprised to see Def Leppard artwork on a 4-pack of cans. Pours a clear, golden honey color with a fluffy, white head. Very light aroma did little to foretell the flavor, which is surprisingly light. Thankful that this pale ale isn't over-hopped like so many. "Drinkable" is an over-used term that really applies here. Very creamy mouth-feel, not too heavy, not too thin. Glad I picked this up and didn't decide to "Let It Go!"

Canned September 26th clearly stamped on the lip near the bottom. Kudos for that.
A not so gentle pour brings a 3 finger head of foam sitting on a clear medium gold liquid. Cool, it takes a while for the foam to shrink and it does leave some lacing behind.
The smell, to my nose, reveals some solid notes of citrus and bready malt. Aboot equal proportions of bitter and sweet.
The taste accurately reflects the smell with the hoppy bitterness getting a nudge over the malt. I was hoping for the reverse. Still, not a bad drop.
Mouthfeel is fine, drinkability is fine.
I wanted to get a single can but that wasn't an option. The other 3 won't be a big chore to drink.
