Barrel-aged sample at the Pike Street location. Pours a mostly clear brown-amber color with a thin light beige head that diminishes rather quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Pungent malt, fruit and coconut in the nose. Rich, smooth body with flavors of earthy malt, oily hops and dark fruit, along with more coconut. The finish is chewy with fruit and hops lingering in the aftertaste. I am not really sure what style of beer this is, especially having only tried it barrel-aged. Interesting and decent overall.
