15th Anniversary Beer (Brewed w/ Oats, Rum-Soaked Golden Raisins & Golden Syrup (Light Treacle).
Beer served in a snifter at a local bar in DC. Surprised not to find this one on beeradvocate.
Beer is amber / clear with a wispy white head of tiny bubbles, some lacing, moderate to low carbonation.
Aroma is sweet with a hint of earthy hops.
Beer is medium to light in body, a little hot on the front with a nice finish, well the finish is a little dry. There is a little hop bitterness to this beer and the dryness of the finish really brings that hop character out more. Interesting beer overall. I might have it again.
