Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy golden amber color with less than an inch of khaki head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma was a good blend of malt and grain, with just a hint of biscuit in the background, and only a slight bit of hops. The very good flavors were mostly similar, with a bit of a hop tang giving a nice counter-point to the malts.

The body was smooth and crisp, no sticky-sweetness, but otherwise fairly typical. Drinkability was very good, you could easily have several before a Mariners game. Overall, a good take on the style. If you think Ambers are bland, you should try this one. If you like the style, this is a must try.
