Copenhagen 19/9 2020. 33 cl can from Væskebalancen, Vestergade, Aarhus. Blue and grey can with a strange combination of a beer barrel and an old-fashioned telescope.
Pours opaque, unclear, dark brown with a small, bubbly off-white head. Disappears more or less after a few seconds leaving a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of sweet grapes and currants soon overpowered by a sour scent of unripe, sour gooseberries. Vinegar. Light funky touch of cheese and buttermilk.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a fairly strong sourness with a bitter touch. Aftertaste is sweet with a little sweet mellowing undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Dry, vinous finish.
Fine take of a sour red with a touch of barrel and funk.
