GALAXY OAK JUICE (6.5%) is a light and very drinkable wild ale that is from a first fill of new oak barrels - the wood character is therefore very evident. I have tried to match with dry hops instead of diluting.

Copenhagen 14/7 2023. 37,5 cl bottle from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Orange version of Observatoriet's usual label design with organic patterns and lines.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - pale yellow with a big white head. Settles thin but unbroken layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fresh, floral, odor of berries and flowers mingling with tart notes of unripe fruit. Green grapes, currants and elderflower. Sour gooseberries and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed bye stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a tad watery. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Dry, fruity and pleasant. Like a good cup of white wine.
