Copenhagen 17/2 2022. 75 cl capped bottle from Dammbergs Ølmagasin, Kingosgade, Frb. C. Off-white label with thin lines in light grey reminding me of a topographical map.
Pours murky amber with a big, white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of berries mingling with a stronger tart, sour scent. Light funky notes. Sweet Strawberry and currants. Sour gooseberries, lemon and vinegar. Musty humid cellar.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Fine tart brew with enough redeeming sweetness that I notice it is indeed pretty sour.
