This ale is a blend of two different batches of roasted rye and caramel malt beers, both of which have spent a year in oak barrels with wild yeast cultures. Afterwards, carefully selected and given a beautiful treatment of a spice blend and dry hopped.

Copenhagen 11/2 2022. 75 cl capped bottle from Dammbergs Ølmagasin, Kingosgade, Frb. C. Dark brown label with thin lines in a lighter shade of brown reminding me of a topographical map.
Pours murky dark brown with a big, light beige head. Bubbly. Disappears fairly fast leaving a opaque and dark fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity sweet odor mingling with a stronger tart, sour scent. Whiff of spices. Sweet strawberry and cherries. Caramel. Sour gooseberries. Touch of vinegar. Cumin and coriander.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit searing. Finish is dry.
Wild Ale with a touch of caramel.
