Hirtshals 10/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Spar, Margrethevej, Hirtshals. Vendia’s usual label design with an all black label and a thin dark blue stripe across the label.
Pours clear dark amber with a small yellowish head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet caramellish odor mingling with alcohol. Roasted malts, caramel, hints of toffee and burnt brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light burnt undertone. Lingers for a while. Lightly boozy finish.
Pretty sweet and throughly roasted - and with a potent boozy touch.
