Copenhagen 26/5 2020. 50 cl bottle from Supervin.dk web-shop. Black label in Vendias usual design this time with a purple line. They declare the beer to be 100 per cent handcrafted (however you measure that).
Pours clear amber with a big off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a medium strong sweet odor of caramel and with a light roasty scent. Toffee, brown sugar. Roasted malts.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Finish has a light roasted touch.
Decent Amber Ale. A bit sweet and roasted but not much of anything else.
