Should I make something new?
Yes, of course you should make something new. Oh, the coffee pot has exploded.
Belgian-inspired Christmas double.

Copenhagen 5/5 2025. 50 cl bottle from VinSpecialisten, Søndergade Herning. Label in Lille Holmgård's usual design in a dark green version with ice crystals.
Pours clear mahogany with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of brown sugar and a whiff of metallic alcohol. Toasted malts and biscuits. Bread and caramel. Touch of toffee.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light touch of alcohol. Sourish undertone. Finish is pleasant with a sugary touch.
Overall nice take on a Dubbel. I wonder what's p with the Coffee pot.
