A lovely easy-drinking Pale Ale that can quickly become your favorite "everyday beer". At least it has become so with me. The Cascade hops give a lovely aroma and taste that is slightly spicy, notes of citrus/grapefruit and a slightly floral touch. Goes well with poultry, salads and pasta dishes, or as a lunch beer.

Copenhagen 2/9 2024. 50 cl bottle from Vinspecialisten Herning, Søndergade, Herning. Simple white label with a golden horizontal stripe and the logo of the brewery.
Pours unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a grainy scent and a bit of citrus fruit. Bread and malts. Hints of rancid butter. Grapefruit and grains. A bit sharp.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a rough, strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and a bit rough.
Rough APA - and I could do without the butter.
