Copenhagen 22/10 2024. 50 cl bottle from Marius Mortensens Eftf., Friesgade, Nykøbing F. White version of LF Bryg's pretty simple design with the name and style of the beer and the Brewery's logo.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears completely leaving sombre dark waters behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of roasted malts mingling with a sharp bitter scent of dark chocolate. Dark roasted malts, licorice, caramel and toffee. Sharp dry, dark chocolate.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Potent and rather nice.
