Ban Bräu

Dropped in for a visit on a weeknight. The place was full of happy customers who were enjoying the guest beer on tap (none of their beer was available until Friday). Obviously, opening a new brewery in downtown Bad Staffelstein was a good idea as residents can walk to it and then walk home. I was staying at the edge of town and it was no more than a kilometer away, which was easy to do. The owner was on hand serving and was pleasant, approachable and knowledgable. He desires to bring the actual brewing experience to the people to enhance their experience, knowledge and understanding of the brewing experience. He provided me with the dregs of his last batch, which was still outstanding and will be reviewed later. Very personal service. He provides a selection of other beverages for those who desire to go nonalcoholic or fruity. He is well on the way to becoming a centerpiece of the town.
