An aromatic bouquet of hops and citrus fruits in our take on a pale ale, the light - medium bodied maltiness leading to the smooth, lingering finish screams at you to have another sip!

Hazy dark gold with a thick, rocky head. Floral hop nose. Light-medium malt body, more smooth than crisp.

On tap at the brewpub. Yellowish-orange color, moderate cloudiness. Good carbonation. Off-white, small head that diminishes fairly quickly, with little lacing. Smells slightly hoppy. Quite nice on the palate, smooth with nice carbonation. Very nice flavor as well; hoppy, but not overpowering at all. One of the better pale ales I've had in a while...have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.

Another of the Pump House beers with a fire fighter theme - thus the spelling of pail rather than pale. Came in a glass right from the pump with a very nice looking off-white head sitting on top of a very amber coloured brew. Nice lacing - present but not too much. Good nose of malt. Great taste; malt again and an aftertaste that is wonderfully on the edge of bitter but not offensively so. It could actually go a little further IMHO. Good pale (oops! pail) ale. I want to drink this again.
