Brewed for Bear Awareness Week, this is a very atypical example of the style. I would classify it as a "Brown IPA" if such a thing existed (and, what with White IPAs, Black IPAs, Red IPAs, Etc., maybe there should be a Brown IPA style. Separate can of worms, that). Honestly, this beer had all the attributes of BB's IPA, just with some darker malt thrown in. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Only one batch brewed, so give it a shot if you happen to see it during it's limited run.
