The original Oktoberfest lager was created more than 200 years ago in Germany to celebrate a royal wedding. This recipe is a delicious, modern rendition utilizing local malt from Skagit Valley. A generous amount of Munich malt bequeaths the robust, medium-bodied lager with flavors of toasted pretzel, toffee and honey-caramel sweetness.

Dark amber appearance with significant white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a tomato acidy type. Taste is also an odd tomato type that is smooth but odd

Don't know where my review went, so, uh, here's another...
Poured into a big Hofbrauhaus glass, this was a clear, coppery amber color, with a good sized off-white head that left streaky and spotty lace.
Caramel and toasty nose, with fruity yeast esters and a slight, herbal hop note.
Taste follows aroma. The sweet, caramelly, bready notes lead the charge, with a fruity yeast taste kicking in partway through and a modest, herbal dryness at the swallow.
Medium bodied, with a coating, stickey mouthfeel.
A very tasty Oktoberfest. I would absolutely drink this again were it to appear on tap locally.
