32oz grunt courtesy of beertunes, and delivered to me by Janet, one of the authors of the recipe for this beer. Here's more info from Boundary Bay's website:
"A special collaboration beer designed and brewed by female brewers and professionals from Whatcom County. Whatcom Women’s Fresh Hop is solely brewed with hops grown in Whatcom County, including the Beer Garden at Boundary Bay! The soft floral flavors of the fresh hops converge around the nucleus of the Pale 2-Row malt resulting in well-balanced handcrafted ale."

Poured into a Boundary Bay shaker pint glass with considerable mileage on it, this was a clear, golden amber color, with a tight off-white head and minimal lace.

Mildly grainy malts and soft, floral hops greet the workers at my olfactory.

This is a mild flavored beer, and delivers what was promised in the aroma. The taste consists of soft hoppiness of chiefly floral nature, though a little bit of lemony citrus flavor is in the background, and a mildly grainy malt flavor, finishing on a slightly crisp note.

The body is somewhere between light and medium, with a lightly oily mouthfeel.

Not remotely an intense flavor experience, but I don't think it's meant to be. Rather, I feel it's a low impact ale best appreciated in the mild late summer-early fall temperatures of the PNW. After a long day at work, followed by errand running and getting the cooking of dinner underway, It's hitting the spot. Knowing it's in support of a great cause is just icing on the cake.
