Appearance - This beer arrived garnet-brown with an offwhite, minimal head exhibiting light retention and heavy lacing. A ring of suds persisted until the end.
Smell A lot in the nose here: light and heavy citrus scents, fruit, malt.
Taste - This beer tastes somewhat alcoholic, with caramel, fruity, honey notes and a substantial citric hops flavor. The finish is enjoyable, long, and bitter.
Mouthfeel - The mouthfeel is chewy, coarse, full-bodied, medium-bodied.
Drinkability - Something about this beer would prohibit me from seeking it out again in a session. It almost drinks like a barleywine. Complex.
