Served in 10oz goblet. Poured a clean, clear gold color with 1/2 inch of just off-white head that had good retention and lacing.
Some caramel had the lead in the nose, followed by pine and citrus hops, with just a light touch of grainy malt in the background.
Similar on the tongue, just brighter overall, and the hops being more focused.
The body was a touch on the full side of medium for the style, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was pretty good, no real alcohol bite. Overall, a solid example of the style, worth trying if you see it.
