Brewed in conjunction with the Bellingham Roller Betties Flat Track roller derby team. 12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear copper color with about 1/4 inch of off-white head that had low-moderate retention and low lacing.
The aroma had a nice grain base, and a big hop note from the 4 varieties (Denali, Citra, Lemondrop, and Mandarina Bavaria) that had juicy sweetness and counter balancing bitterness. Pretty similar on the tongue, with a nice lingering bitterness on the finish.
The body was fairly typical, light-medium, and had a semi-dry finish. Drinkability was very nice, I see myself drinking a bunch of these during the upcoming bout season (DO NOT act up in my beer garden, or I'll toss you out!). Overall, a nicely solid brew, worth a shot if you see it.
