Batch 7000 is an Imperial IPA that commemorates our 7000th brew and 24th anniversary. This Northwest-Style Imperial IPA’s bright-golden color is complemented with floral and sweet aromatics. Batch 7000’s immense hop flavor harmonizes with a honey-caramel sweetness. A smooth, warming finish complements its balanced lingering bitterness and residual caramel flavors.

Served in 10oz goblet. Poured a beautiful, clean, clear orange-amber color with just a thin cap of white head that low retention and no lacing.
A solid malt base in the nose provides support for the classic hop profile.
Those bright citrus and pine hops also dominate the tongue, with the grains giving a solid base. For being relatively low (for the style) ABV, there was a bit of alcohol burn.
The body is on the full side of medium, as expected for the style, and there is a semi-sweet finish, with some bitterness lingering at the back.
Drinkability was fine, about what you'd expect from the style.
Overall, a nice brew that's worth a shot if you see it during its limited time.
